LCD’s tend to fall into two categories: LCD Televisions and LCD Monitors. LCD televisions do not require a lot of space compared with traditional CRT televisions. This allows you to consider hanging them on the wall. They will usually have a TV tuner built in to them and will also have inputs allowing you to hook up to your Home Cinema System.

LCD monitors will be designed more for an office environment and the inputs will generally be suited toward use with your PC. In addition to being a slim display, LCD screens are flat – which means that they offer a very wide viewing angle.
